We are sending a Martin Luther King World House Challenge to schools and communities in Florida to bring Dr. King's vision of a World House into reality:
We have inherited a big house, a great "world house" in which we have to live together - black and white, Easterners and Westerners, Gentiles and Jews, Catholics and Protestants, Moslem and Hindu, a family unduly separated in ideas, culture, and interests who, because we can never again live without each other, must learn, somehow, in this one big world, to live with each other. - Dr. M. L. King, Nobel Prize Lecture We would like to include the Seasons for Peace and Nonviolence and the Gandhi-King Peace Train in our children's story with supporting activities for youth, adults and elders.
Florida folk, please contact me if you'd like to participate!
